The Edmonton Oilers second game of their four game road trip couldn't have gone worse.
Down in Dallas last night, the Oilers were blanked 5-0 to the Stars after Jake Oettinger made 35 stops for his third shutout of the year. The scored started early when Radek Faksa beat Calvin Pickard for his 7th of the season, after capitalzing from a turnover. The game was even for a while and then Dallas scored four goals in a six minute span, putting an end to any hopes of victory for the Oilers. Tyler Seguin got the second goal and was quickly followed by goals from Wyatt Johnston, Jamie Benn, and Sam Steel.
What did you think of last nights loss? Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live for Oilersnation Everyday on the Oilersnation YouTube channel at noon to discuss what happened in the south last night. Want your thoughts heard? Leave your questions, comments and concerns about the Edmonton Oilers in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat. Also, they'll go around the NHL with Frank talking about the line brawl in New York last night and the playoff race in the Eastern Conference.
