Even though it's Christmas, I always find this a lovely time to reflect on the riches of Lamrim, and the Tibetan philosophy of Je Tsong Kapa, (15th C) who refined the complexity of Buddhist teachings into a simple pathway to wisdom. 

The Gelugpa tradition which he founded, still flourishes in the person of his Holiness the Dalai Lama, and in the person of the Panchen Otrul Lama who resides at Jampaling, the Tibetan Buddhist Centre in west Cavan.

Tibetan philosophy is a jewel tree of wisdom, sparkling like our Christmas tree, sending rays of wisdom in the ten directions through the universe.
