Retired Chief Superintendent Karen Daber spent over 30 years in British policing, leaving Cambridge Constabulary as the head of Crime. prior to taking up her position as the temporary Assistant Chief Constable (ACC) overseeing the implementation of the new National Code of Ethics, as directed by the then Home Secretary, The Honorable Theresa May MP. A code of ethics which would be the platform for senior officers to champion a new era of ethical framework for officers to adhere to when carrying out their duties in the office of Constable
