Fear is all around us. Layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East, downturns in the housing market, and upswings in global warming. Fear locks us up in a prison. It’s paralyzing. It causes anxiety. It can even prevent us from facing or accomplishing certain things, and yet, in the Bible God tells us 366 times, “Do not be afraid.”
In this series we will take a look at the fears that hold us back and how the God of all truth, comfort, and protection has given us the power to overcome our worst fears.
