Marlena is Los Angeles based artist Originally from El Paso, the West Texas boarder town. She received her BFA in photography from California College of the Arts in Oakland. In the midst of a successful commercial photography career she was faced with a life-changing cancer diagnosis which her to re-evaluate her life and refocus on creative energy towards the healing power of art.
“I love witnessing the fleeting magical moments throughout the day when the golden light dances, when shadows play, when no one else is watching.
