A Case For Capitalism (Podcast) 8-27-18

Listen Later

We were taught to never put a knife or fork into the electrical wall socket
Our parents, loved ones, and maybe even teachers warned us that if you put that metal into the socket you could get hurt or worse.
So we listen to them, even though putting a utensil into that electrical gateway must be cool
It would probably make sparks, crazy noises and maybe even explode
I know secretly you want to try it, but we don’t because our parents, teachers and loved ones warned us against it.
But what if you met someone who said that they knew a better way, a safe way of putting that fork into the wall socket.
What if they claim that everyone else was doing it wrong.
That all those previous attempts that ended poorly weren’t done correctly
Would you do it?
Would you take them up on the offer to try the new, safe way?
If you haven’t caught on this is an analogy
The fork is a metaphor for socialism, ironically the result of implementing both socialism and the fork in the socket will be the same.
Every time a new attempt is made to implement a socialist society it fails.
The people who are pro socialism say “It wasn’t done right, they did it wrong, we know a better way”
No my communist friend, they didn’t do it wrong,
The country that implemented socialism got it exactly right.
The real end game of socialism isn’t utopia, its not a campfire circle where everyone is happy, the end game is communism.
Socialism is a stepping stone to total government
It is the path towards ultimate corruption, food shortages, and financial collapse
But the intentions of socialism are well hidden through
• free handouts, (free college, free healthcare, free food stamps, free paycheck UI)
• Ridiculous promises (More money will solve problems, tax the rich, free gov jobs for all)
• Class warfare (turning the lower class against the middle class, the upper class knows how to escape)
We don’t have to go to the left by the way
The idea that we will eventually go to the left , that we will “progress” to socialism isn’t true
There is an idea out there that there is an unequal distribution of socialism in the world
This notion is very wrong
The truth is that there is a unequal distribution of capitalism in the world.
For a hundred years the US has been the super power of the world
• We have invented the future
• We created a society that is so efficient we are dying from over eating
• How is it we are the richest nation, the freest nation, the country that helps the world everyday
Through donations of food, water and military protection
How is it we are capable of doing all that and more?
Well my friend, it sure as hell isn’t socialism.
The answer is capitalism.
