Steve West is an attorney, writer, blogger, and former record label owner.  From 1995-2004 he owned and managed Silent Planet Records, which released 23 albums of singer-songwriters during its tenure, including works by Jan Krist, Phil Madeira, Aaron Sprinkle, and John Fischer and featured many of those artists and others on a subscriber radio show entitled Wide Angle Radio. He also edited the poetry and short story journal, ProCreation: A Journal of Truth-Telling. His poetry and fiction has been published in The Independent, Studio: A Journal of Christians Writing, Ruminate, Mars Hill Review, and Inklings, and since January 2019 he has written a weekly roundup of religious liberty and free speech litigation for World, as well as been a guest on World’s podcast, The World and Everything In It. Since 2006 he has blogged regularly on the true, the good, and the beautiful at outwalking.net.
