Jim changed the course of my life. He was a patient at a hospital I worked in during my college days.

One day we struck up a conversation that eventually turned to Jesus.

He didn't have any real beliefs about God other than he existed, but that day he was ready to soak up any information he could.

I read to him my favorite passage, Colossians 2:13 and 14. As I did, I watched the words, "when you were dead in your sins God made you alive" awaken a heart-felt faith in Jim.

That day Jim received Christ and was made fully alive in the Lord.

That's exactly what Christ does. He makes us alive in Him. And that's what happened to you the day you believed.
