Let’s face it folks, we have allowed the chaotic society we currently live in to be created by our own decisions on who we have voted for repeatedly. A communist and Islamist will now be mayor of New York City. It is time for us to consider non-career politician candidates across the board. We must elect normal citizens who will put Americans first in the fight to protect liberty, tackle the huge crime problem created in large part by the mass illegal immigration in the last 20 years, and create an economy where a young man can get married, have children, and buy a house to live the American dream. My guest today is Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Mike Pierce, PhD – a decorated Army officer, veteran advocate, and Republican candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 11th District. Mike brings a unique blend of real-world military leadership and grassroots community experience. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Army (including combat deployment in Iraq) and later as a DOD contractor with U.S. European Command and AFRICOM, he continued to fight for veterans, founding organizations to help service members transition back into civilian life. His campaign was born from a 15-year fight with government bureaucracy, where he was denied promotion due to administrative errors — finally corrected in 2025. That personal battle against unaccountable systems shaped his mission: to restore accountability, defend liberty, and put government back in service to the people. Mike is also the author of The Overlord Effect: Emergent Leadership During Crisis, a historically based leadership review that draws on firsthand accounts of Normandy veterans and applies them to today’s challenges in the military, business, and organizational leadership.
