I thought we'd try an experiment. The purpose of this podcast is to share 'raw' Word - and for you to be led to a personal understanding by The Holy Spirit. However, in this chapter, it is clear how helpful it was for Philip to share understanding with the Ethiopian Treasurer for Candace, Queen of the Ethiopians.
Verses 30-31
Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
He said, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?”
I have deliberately labelled this bonus recording as a 'chat'. It's not a sermon, as such, more a gentle sharing of thoughts, but it may be of assistance to you in noticing more in this passage.
Let me know if it's a blessing.
And may God bless you as you listen to this and the chapter it supports.
