- We all have, or have had our vices, but it’s all about understanding where they come from. Habits are very potent mechanisms to make you do something without thinking but, when there’s a chemical component that magnifies that habit, it makes it even stickier than you thought it would be. I didn’t start smoking weed until I was 30 and now I’m not dependent on it to go to sleep or think, I don’t wake and bake. I use it to access a portion that I don’t normally because of overthinking or being too busy, it allows me to sit down and think, the ceremony around it – the same as pouring a scotch – allows me to just be, and that’s a hugely positive thing, just being.
