In this episode, you’ll hear from stand-up comedian, Adam Hopkins. Adam is from the UK and had lived in Taiwan for several years. He has performed in many places around the world including in Thailand, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Barcelona, and of course many cities in Taiwan. Adam shares with us what brought him to stand-up comedy, how his experiences living in different parts of the world influenced him, and why and how he hopes to raise deaf awareness through stand-up comedy. We recorded this episode in Taipei back in November of 2024, before Adam moved back to the UK. 

Adam has written for VICE, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Scotland, and Time Out, and opened for international touring comics such as Kyle Kinane (Netflix), Mike Vecchione (The Tonight Show) and Dean Edwards (Saturday Night Live).
