As children of God, we need to grow up to be like our Father.
So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation - if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:1-3
PRAYER
Oh Lord, help us to set our hopes on what we can do, but on what Christ has already done in redeeming us by his blood; not on our own agendas but on your plans for us; not on what we think we deserve but on your grace, your unmerited kindness to us. This we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
