Hey ATG Family!
How many of you have sat down and had detailed conversations with your children about the religion you practice and why?
I grew up in a Pentecostal church being taught to believe in Jesus and I did. I didn't know why I believed I just did it because that's what we were told. It wasn't until my young adult years where I began to know Jesus for myself and understand why I should believe.
In this episode, I share with you all how I almost made the same mistake with my youngest daughter my parents made with me. I was dragging her along to prayer meetings and church services making the assumption she was learning without taking the time out to teach and nurture my own child into the why of her salvation. Honestly, I wasn't ensuring that she knew the how's and why's of the BIBLE! Bad mommy!!! So, here is a glimpse into our conversation after the mommy theology crash course. This is just the beginning of many conversation Skylyn and I began to have and share with you guys!
