This week we finish chapter 3 in our study of Revelation. This section concludes with the message to the church at Laodicea, a church for which Christ has no positive words. They believe they are self sufficient, without need and strong in their own resourcefulness. Jesus' words are given to jolt them out of complacency, as they have no fellowship with Him in their current state. Yet even so, Christ offers the encouragement that if they repent He will come to them and be with them. Let us also awaken out of complacency and cling to our Savior, giving thanks even in affliction and want.
