At the beginning of every episode, you can hear Ellen saying “Andrew, I’m HUNGRY!” Usually, it’s said jokingly, but today we’re going to take that topic seriously.
This past Wednesday (October 10) was World Homeless Day, and this coming Tuesday (October 16) is World Food Day. So today in today's Feast we are going to focus on the topic of hunger. The global community has the goal of ending hunger by 2030. Is it possible?
What's on the menu today? In our first course, with winter just around the corner, we’re going to tell you how people in Taiwan bring warmth to people living on the street. In our second course an eye-opening look at how wasteful we are with food! And in our third and final course, we’ll sample a food that stays good for a long time, and is often used to bring warmth to those in need.
