A closer look at the Falcons' 53-man roster

The Falcons have over-hauled their roster as they cut down to the initial 53-players on Tuesday. Several former starters and draft picks were cut as the team believes they have improved the talent level. The Falcons also elected to keep three quarterbacks on the roster, which will be helpful for Desmond Ridder. There will be some changes as the Falcons are thin at cornerback. But this is the group that will be charged with ending the streak of five consecutive losing seasons and possibly return the franchise to the playoffs.
