The Albanese Government has promised to extend the instant asset write-off for tradies if re-elected which would allow small businesses and trade workers to deduct $20,000 in essential purchases off the tax they pay.
Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "It's a complete con job and I actually don't think you can believe it just four weeks before an election."
"This Labor Party had been prepared to let this tax break fall to just $1,000 for our tradies and our small businesses."
"We pressured them in the budget week to maintain it at $20,000 and they've done that for one more year." Mrs. Ley said.
