I want to talk about empowerment as an introvert but I’m going to warn you, you might be offended. Have you heard of the phrase, “Fake it until you make it?” Yeah, for an introvert that is the worst thing to tell us to do! Our core is all about authenticity. However, in Amy Cuddy’s fabulous book, “Presence,” she talks about how faking it is exactly what we need to do to rewire our brain. She’s an introvert. And she gets us. There is a faking that is not being authentic but instead takes advantage of how the brain works.
