Vince Zampella was one of the most influential game developers of the 21st century, and is responsible for helping create some of the most influential titles of all time such as Call of Duty, Titanfall, Apex Legends, Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor, and for the last several years oversaw the Battlefield franchise, helping to deliver one of the best received games in the series in recent times. Vince died tragically in a car crash in December of 2025 at the age of 55.
