Cy Charney, President of Charney and Associates Inc., is a leading Canadian consultant in the area of performance improvement. His clients include a number of Fortune 500 companies, state and local government departments and social service agencies. As a corporate trainer he's traveled the world bringing a fresh and practical approach to business leaders eagerly searching for workable solutions to common challenges. His philosophy in any classroom situation is to engage, be engaging, relevant, practical and ensure that he can lace the theory with practical stories usually with humor;) 

As a learning facilitator, Cy the creator of the unique Peer Mentoring program which allows volunteer self-directed learners to take responsibility for their learning over an extended period. Cy is a member of the faculty of a number of North American Business Schools and is the author of 9 management books including The Instant Manager, The Portable Mentor, The Leader’s Tool Kit and his latest, Just-In-Time Management. He has a BA in psychology and a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa.
