Jess DeMarchis is a Life Coach and Therapist for high achieving women. She is originally from Philadelphia, PA and currently lives in Raleigh, NC. Jess and I have the IG algorithm to thank for our divine connection - we met for coffee when I was visiting NC for my Craniosacral course and the rest is history! In this episode, we talk to Jess about her journey from being a high school student wanting to engage in social justice to becoming a full-time coach and business owner through a decade of trials, triumphs and tribulations. We unfold topics such as goal-setting, trusting in the "bigger picture", finding an authentic label as a practitioner or professional and how to evoke self-compassion, especially when reflecting on periods of life where we might hold grief or shame.
Jess can be contacted @jess_demarchis_coaching or found through her website. She also has her own podcast, which can be accessed here, Unlearn to Level Up.
I have also included links to Krista Tippett's Self Compassion Work and the Talking Papers exercise, as per mentioned in the episode.
