With a background in material science and engineering Dr McMahon worked at Abbott Vascular until his retirement in 2018. Dr. McMahon has patents for medical guide wire and endovascular stents design.  He teaches at the University of Redlands School of Business and serves on the board of directors for two charitable organizations.
