The Beagle Alliance is a rescue and advocacy group working to reduce and eventually end animal testing, and also working to find homes for animals who have been released from laboratory research. Although The Beagle Alliance operates in Canada they also work in tandem with rescue and advocacy partners in the US. Our conversation touches on reasons why animal testing is still being done even though it’s often not relevant or useful, and on what we can each do to help educate and inform more people about viable alternatives. Learn more at
