if you are a veteran of any branch of the military there is a special event going on with the guys of Operation: Tears of the 22 over at Byrd Adventure Center on August 5-8. There are going to be Jeep rides brought to you by local Jeep clubs, and giving you a chance to camp and enjoy nature, almost smack dap in the middle of the Ozark National Forest. If you are interested in joining me and other vets as we let loose go over to the event page and let Matt and Rich know that you are interested or better yet commit and say you are going. Main Event
This week I have a special guest this week. We are talking with MJ Durkin from the Men of Honor Podcast. He cranks out 3 episodes each week so if that gives you any idea as to how much MJ likes to talk about what it takes to be a Man of Honor.
This week I asked MJ Durking to be on the show because I am seeing men struggling with a divorce. Yeah, divorce is dirty and often unfair to the men who are involved. Yet, there are lessons that a married man can learn from a man who has gone through a divorce.
There are two different paths you can take. There is the victim road or there is the way of the honorable man.
So stick the earbuds in and listen to my conversation with MJ Durkin, and see that you can actually save your marriage by starting to be the man in your relationship.

Hey, man. Welcome to Relaxed Male! This week, we have a special conversation with Michael J. Durkin, also known as MJ Durkin, from the Men of Honor podcast. We dive into what a married man can learn from a man who's gone through a divorce. If your marriage is floundering or feels like it's lacking, MJ shares surprising insights on how to liven it up and make it strong.
Before we get into our conversation, I want to mention a special event for veterans happening from August 5th through 8th at Bird Adventure Center in the Ozark National Forest. It's organized by the great folks at Operation Tears of the 22. This event is a chance for veterans to relax, enjoy jeep trails, great food, and camaraderie. I'll be speaking at this event, and I formally invite all veterans to join us.
In our conversation, MJ and I discuss the importance of men understanding their mission and purpose before getting married. We talk about how men often lose themselves by trying to make their wives happy, leading to a loss of respect and ultimately, marital issues. MJ emphasizes the need for men to be solid, caring, and loving while maintaining their own identity and passions.
MJ also shares valuable advice on how men should communicate with their wives. He stresses the importance of being a great listener and understanding that men and women communicate differently. By being a masculine listener and not trying to solve every problem, men can build stronger connections with their wives.
We also touch on the concept of strength tests in marriage, where women test their husbands to see if they will remain true to themselves. Passing these tests is crucial for maintaining respect and love in the relationship.
MJ's insights are a reminder that men can be strong, decisive, and assertive while also being loving and supportive partners. If you enjoyed this episode, please share it with someone who might benefit from it. Let's help men become better leaders for their families and their destinies.
