Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, associate professor of legal studies, has been recently appointed to the state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities by Gov. Ned Lamont. The commission works to eliminate discrimination through civil and human rights law enforcement and to establish equal opportunity and justice for all persons within the state through advocacy and education.
