The Indian electric vehicle ecosystem is perhaps the most interesting case study demonstrating how the evolution of the clean mobility sector in developing economies differs from mature economies.

While the Electric 2-wheeler industry is experiencing breathtaking growth, particularly due to the impact of electric last-mile delivery services, sales of electric cars were lagging. This is starting to change. 17,802 cars were sold last year. of which 15,198 were Tata EVs.
