Tom Twist is the Sustainability Manager at Bates. Tom works to provide Bates faculty, staff, and students with the tools needed to reduce our environmental footprint by conserving energy, promoting renewable energy, alternative transportation, recycling, and green procurement. Tom sat down with Multifaith Fellows, Alexis Hudes and Sara Moradi to discuss finding his way from scooping ice cream to a career in sustainability.
