We have recently had a lot of rain which softened the soil and weighed down the tree leaves. Add high winds to the mix and some trees may topple. One of them cracked loudly as it fell, landing twenty feet from our house. Fortunately, something was watching over us and reminding us not to crack under the stress of life.
