The Profound family business started as a 2.6-acre farm in Texas growing leafy greens, edible flowers, culinary herbs, and microgreens in 17,000 sqft of hydroponic greenhouses. Jeff then founded Profound Foods, a distribution hub that he created to connect farmers and chefs. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Jeff created Profound Kitchen to create value-added goods out of end-of-season produce and products that enhance the at-home cooking experience.
