The widely held belief that Trump supporters are under the influence of false narratives served up to them by white supremacist news sources like Fox News is actually false...for the most part.  While some of them do believe the crazier conspiracy theories to emerge over the past few years, the vast majority of them are aware of reality.  The false narratives they are actually following are far older, far more fundamental, and far darker than QAnon could ever be.
