When Andie follows a cryptic lead, in search of inspiration for her next horror novel, she finds herself in a remote town in upstate Maine; where the townsfolk are less than willing to help her find the clues she needs for her story. After Andie goes missing, it’s up to her editor, Max to retrace her steps in an effort to bring her home. What he discovers, however, is more than he’d ever bargained for. Turns out there’s a good reason that the folks in Hollingshead Maine like to keep their past buried. A past, which Max might just be closer to, than he’d ever thought possible.
