LaTorie welcomes an old colleague and friend Dr. Gerica Brown to kick off the “A Day in the Life” episode. Gerica speaks on her pivot from Process Engineering, Operations Leader, and Six Sigma Black Belt roles in the aerospace industry into the academia world. Although this transition initially resulted in a pay cut, it proved to be more rewarding. As a mentor and advocate working with current and aspiring engineering students at University of Dayton, she is proof of how versatile engineering is.
