The chaos and spiritual darkness in our world is not happenstance. In this podcast episode, Evangelist Frank King teaches on what the Bible says about the works of the devil and the powers of darkness at work in the lives of unbelievers.

We must maintain focus amid the distractions in our world. If we lose focus, we run the risk of losing our footing. The Word of God helps us to stay properly focused so our feet can stay firmly planted.

As Christians, we don’t live life on easy street. Sometimes, God allows us to suffer or to be tested. In this podcast episode, Frank King borrows from the words of Paul the apostle to remind us that we can do all things through Christ. He is the one who strengthens us for the challenges of life. He promises to never leave nor forsake us. Every Christian should be of the conviction that we can do all things through Christ. Having that conviction, however, is not incidental to being a Christian.

God is far more interested in our character than He is in how spiritual we are. Accordingly, it is not enough for us to be people of faith. We must have faith that works in conjunction with love. Partiality toward others is not compatible with working in love. In this episode, Frank King addresses the subject of Christians showing respect of persons. This denotes a regard for others based on friendship, social status, power, wealth, etc.

Respect of persons denotes favoritism or treating people according to their rank, status, or importance. In this episode, Frank King reminds us that being a Christian and having respect of persons is unacceptable behavior to the Lord. He acknowledges that we all have our personal biases. But Christians must learn how to bring their biases in subjection to the Word of God so they can be just in their dealings with others.

The most important decision any of us will make is that regarding our relationship with the Lord, or the lack thereof. That decision is a matter of eternal consequences. The truth is that it is possible to be a faithful churchgoer and still be on the wrong road to heaven. This is a sobering reality. Jesus makes it clear that He is the only way for anyone to get from earth to heaven.

We are saved by grace through faith in Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. Grace is the only means for any of us to get from earth to heaven. This is a fundamental teaching of the Christian faith. Due to the infirmities of the flesh, none of us can do enough good to earn our own salvation. That means all who trust in their good works are on the wrong road to heaven.

In this episode, Frank King underscores a challenge we all face as Christians. We say we trust God. But at times we find it hard to walk by faith in what He says. Sometimes, the challenge at hand causes doubt to raise its ugly head. Then there are the voices of unbelief all around us. This episode is a reminder that we should believe what God says in spite of the circumstances or the contrary voices around us.

Even Christians can find it difficult to believe God at times. Challenging times have a way of causing fear and unbelief to raise their ugly heads. It’s OK for Christians to struggle in the area of their faith. But we must never succumb to the voices of fear and unbelief. In this sermon, Frank King challenges Christians to believe and trust God in spite of what they see and hear on the contrary.
