A Difficult Position for a Difficult Decision

I understand that being a black woman I have obstacles placed in front of me before I even breathe air into my lungs. I also know that I have enemies everywhere I go so instead of feeding them the negativity that they desire, I will feed myself instead. I will pour into my community. This platform will be used to bring my peers hope, faith, patience, love, encouragement and most importantly inspiration. It’s our turn to create our own history, our own path. It’s time for us to EXCEED while BLACK.
