The Scripture comes from Luke 22:7-27. The Old Testament faith of Israel was built around a meal. And now Jesus sits with his disciples to celebrate the Passover Meal before his crucifixion. And in the middle of the meal, he institutes a new meal–The Lord’s Supper–to be observed until the day that Jesus returns to this world. “A Dinner to be Remembered” is part of our “Dinners with Jesus” series.
