Have you ever had a conversation with someone who complained about 'ingrates' who did not appreciate their sacrifice? 
Those kids don't appreciate anything and only want more. It makes you wonder if the giving is truly for 'the kids' or if it is for the giver?
We need to check our hearts with respect to why we give and if there are strings attached.  When we give freely, there is no expectation of a return.
