Recent events indicate that no matter what happens this November, within the next few years America will change fundamentally. The continued failure by Democrat mayors and governors to police their streets and uphold the Law is forcing the President to act at a federal level. If this continues, whether or not it's actually the goal, the federal government may have little choice but to create a National Police Force. This can happen as early as late 2021. When the House and Senate get back in Democrat control, the filibuster is gone, and the next president has a police state at his disposal in 2025.
