Having faith in Christ and Christ alone is the foundation of the Christian faith. It is only Christ who can forgive our sins and only Christ that can offer us abundant life not only after we die, but even now. However, because of this gift of God what should our response to Christ be? In the book of James, James challenges us that faith without works is dead. Works do not save us, nor do they win us God’s favor or love, but works should be the response of all Christians who have put their faith, hope, and trust in Christ Jesus our Lord.
