You must know your weapon, the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God given to men for the sake of life and godliness, for wisdom and understanding, for the sake of life and order. You must also know how that Word applies to unbelief and the fruiting flower of the root of sinful rebellion today. Every worldview says something of where we come from and also where we are going (cosmology and eschatology). Let's learn how to answer the unbelief around us.

Do not be fooled by the claim to impartiality by those who do not hold to the true faith. If you seek to engage faithfully you must understand the heart of unbelief and not take the bait that the world wants you take to play by their rules and accept their precepts. Answer the fool according to the wisdom of God's Word and Divine prescriptions.

Which lanes belong to Christ and so the Church? To what matters of life ought the Christian be prepared to speak, proclaim and apply the truth of God's Word. Christian apologetics is, at the bottom, and all the way through, All of Christ for ALL of Life.

With limited resources, time, gifting, calling, opportunity, we need to make the most of our "capital" and seek to be faithful as we contend for the truth. Faithfulness beats success and opportunity in the fight for the faith.
