When we last left Lieutenant Henry, he was in a bar in the afternoon drinking with a motley crew that included an Italian American captain, two young, aspiring, American opera singers, & a vice-consult, passing time, chocolates in hand, waiting for Catherine to finish up her duties before returning to their “home”, the new American hospital in Milan.

In this episode, we will continue reading Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms. Last time, we read chapter NINETEEN- part 1 in book TWO, & now I will continue the story with chapter NINETEEN part 2. After reading the chapter, I will follow up with more quick facts & my impressions.
