In chapter SIXTEEN, Frederick & Catherine have been reunited in the hospital in Milan & now spend every evening huddling together quietly, desperately clinging to the delusion of surviving the war & living happily ever after.

In this episode, we will continue reading Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms. Last time, we read chapter SIXTEEN in book TWO, & now I will continue the story with chapter SEVENTEEN. After reading the chapter, I will follow up with some quick facts & my impressions.
