At times, we may see God like some fathers here on earth— harsh, angry, permissive, or distant, but this distorted view is a goal of the enemy. He tries to pervert everything good that God is— including the image of father. Yet, in reality, God assuredly is the perfect Father we all are looking for— we know that His love endures forever. He wants to heal you in your hurt, and He can handle anything and everything you bring to Him.
