Why is consistency is so important? Well when you need to ask you can't just "show up" and ask.
Bottom line, at some point we all have something time sensitive and important come up that we want to tell the world about. The problem is, if you haven't been talking to the world all along, you don't have anyone's ear. Start communicating the real and authentic you while providing some value along the way. The audience will be there when you need them.
