To feed the flock of Christ with Jesus, the Bread of Life, is one of the greatest privileges a parish priest can have. And there are few things in this world more sweet than to be a part of that time when children receive Our Lord for the first time in Holy Communion. To think that this sacred moment in their lives is but the beginning of a new way of knowing Jesus that hopefully will grow deeper as they journey through the years on their way to the Father’s house.
