When Jesus ascended into Heaven he gave the gift of Spirit who reveals God to us and empowers us. That experience was real and powerful and by it they knew that Jesus was now in Heaven – they had received the promise of the Father which he spoke about. Simon talks to us this morning about being recommissioned by The Holy Spirit.
