Connecting with the Energy of a Full Moon

Coming off an eventful week — and under the glow of a Supermoon in Taurus — this ritual is designed to help you connect deeply with the energy of the cosmos.

A Supermoon occurs when the full moon is closest to Earth, appearing brighter and larger in the night sky. This particular moon symbolizes completion, culmination, and surrender. Full moons in astrology mark the end of a cycle — a time for release and letting go.

Rituals, meanwhile, are not bound by time or place. They are moments for connection with oneself, with intention, and with Source. When there is intention behind any ritual, and it is performed with love, comfort, and grounding, it will always be impactful.

The Energy of Taurus: Safety, Security, and Abundance

The Full Moon in Taurus brings themes of stability, safety, and material comfort. Taurus, an Earth sign, is grounded and practical — it wants to know that everything is secure: a roof overhead, food in the refrigerator, money in savings.

On a deeper level, the influence of Taurus invites a deeper reflection of what we value most — both materially and emotionally. It governs our priorities, our sense of reciprocity in relationships, and our relationship to the material world.

A Taurus Full Moon, meanwhile, serves as a culminating point when it comes to our definition of abundance, our values, and the things we desire to call into our lives.

For some, this energy may manifest as a financial negotiation or a reevaluation of possessions. For others, it could mean letting go of unhealthy attachments — whether to people, beliefs, or habits — that hinder growth.

We must rid ourselves of whatever inhibits us from calling in more of what we want and desire.

Preparing for the Full Moon Ritual

Before beginning, you will need a few items:

* A notebook or journal

* A separate sheet of paper

* Something that connects you to the element of Earth — soil, a crystal, or a precious stone.

* A bowl.

* An open heart and mind.

Understand that a full moon is not a time for setting new goals, but rather for release. It’s during a full moon that we let something go.
