When a close friend attempted suicide, Ariela Safira, a 2022 Forbes Under 30 alumna, found her calling. Shaken by her friend’s experience, Safira dedicated her life to helping with mental and emotional health matters.

She took the leap and founded her startup—Real. The company employs full-time therapists to lead group therapy sessions. It ranges from the exploration of sexuality, anxiety and managing anger with family members to an array of other important issues. Her goal is to deploy both scalable group therapy sessions and on-demand videos to help as many people as possible, in a cost-effective manner.
