Our guest preacher today is Bishop Scott Jones. Bishop Jones' ministry path has taken him from his Tennessee roots to become a Texas "transplant." Having taught United Methodist doctrine for 20 years, United Methodist history for 18 years and authoring nine books, Bishop Scott Jones calls himself a "Wesley nerd." He met his wife, Mary Lou, at University of Kansas. They have been married for 37 years and have three children and three grandchildren.
