After a long day at the clinic, a splasher finds himself in desperate need of a drink. He steps into the Gazette's clinic and sees a young soldier with a desperately Gall looking for help. The soldier tells the splasher about his war experiences, and how he has struggled with his lubberness. The splasher shares his own stories of being bullied as a child and his eventual success in the battle against Gall.
